im a mom of 2 teen girls one is 17 and is pregnant we live in oregon?
we dont know what to do my husband and i are supportive of her but we need to know what help is out there we both lost our jobs and had to go and ask for help from the government the law states we have no say in what she can do do we have rights as her Parents and as grandparents ?she is 8 weeks along we need help with every thing
Just be there for her & listen & try to offer support & encouragement. There are lots of free services out there for pregnant teens. Go to a Crisis Pregnancy Center or local church. If she decides to parent then there are resources out there. If she decides that adoption is an option then she can choose the family & be as involved as she wants in the childs future if she wants an open adoption. Hang in there!
