Praise for Between Tears:
Two murders intertwined. Andrea is bereaved by one, accused of the other. In the meantime, she is engaged to the man with motive for both.
Andrea first loses her sister, Carolyn to drugs and later to a fatal gunshot by an unknown killer. Convinced that the police are not interested in the death of a known "crack head" she is determined to find the killer on her own. Andrea hopes to find anything that will lead to her nephew Roy, who was taken away by his father, Benjamin shortly after his birth. Benjamin is a likely suspect in her sister's murder but Andrea's heart says no. As she searches for the killer, she also falls in love with Benjamin. Will her feelings for Benjamin cloud her judgment and prevent her from seeing the truth?
When Benjamin returns home with Roy, he is finally ready to face his past and admit his true feelings for Andrea. But finding Carolyn's killer is the only thing on Andrea's agenda. Suspected of Carolyn's murder, can Benjamin erase the doubt in Andrea's mind and prove to her once and for all that his love is real?
When Andrea's ex-boyfriend realizes he made a mistake letting her go, he stops at nothing to break up the couple. This includes showing a video tape of himself and Andrea in a very compromising position. When he is found murdered, everyone is a suspect. Will Andrea's faith be strong enough to face the truth and find happiness "between the tears" shed?
Pamela Ridley has written a great book with well developed characters and a good storyline. BETWEEN TEARS is a page turner that offers the perfect blend of faith, romance and suspense. A must read!
